On The Blockchains

Rare NFT Drops on OpenSea.io and Objkt.com - available from October 27th 2021

The On The Blockchains collection is based around one algorithm capable of generating animated chains, vines, and tentacles. From this a series of works have been developed with dramatically different themes and styles.

The title comes from my initial idea to apply the algorithm to generate an animated, fictitious representation of blockchains. At the beginning of September this took the form of a multicoloured spiraling chain with words and a cryptocoin logo. Since then it evolved, and rocketed into space with my Orbiting The Blockchains series, described below.

Additional works based on the same algorithm, with new themes, may be announced in the future, expanding this collection gradually over time.

One third of the money raised from the sale of the On The Blockchain NFTs will go to charity. Visit my charities page to found out more about the charities I am currently supporting.

Orbiting The Blockchains

The lunarbunnies attempted to open a wormhole to another galaxy, but a miscalculation has opened a doorway to another dimension where blockchains take on a living physical form. Ego Bucks send his fleet of Starbunnies to determine what sort of utility they offer.

Video NFTs, each representing different cryptocoins. The soundtrack was developed especially for this series. Each video is one minute long.

Long play versions are dropping too. Three minute versions featuring an extended soundtrack.

Find the Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Shiba Inu versions on Opensea.io (and the Ethereum and Shiba Inu long play editions are still available to buy on primary)

Polygon versions are on Opensea.io

Tezos versions are on Objkt.com

Solana versions may be dropped on corresponding marketplaces in the near future.

From the Blockchain With Love

My genesis drop featured With Love, an experiment with apollonian circle packing featuring a rose that has been filled, or packed, with hearts. This rose has now been carried over and features in this animated work.

One rare video NFT with it's very own soundtrack.

A limited selection of artwork is also available, featuring a hand picked crop with high resolution unlockable suitable for creating a print. The work is fractal in nature so a deep zoom can reveal some fantastic viewpoints on the work.

Skullchain - (now sold)

My entry for the September 2021 Billelis art competition. All entries feature his skull model. After the competition he kindly gave us permission to sell our entries. The skull graphic itself is by Billelis and my code creates the spiraling, almost mechanical looking appendages which at times look like insect antennae, or perhaps horns of this strange skullbeast.

The music plays a big part in these animations, but the original soundtrack used for the competition had a license that didn't suit selling as an NFT so another soundtrack has been prepared especially for this.

One rare video NFT with it's very own soundtrack. Includes an unlockable with high resolution still image suitable for printing or desktop background.

Pumpkin Patch

Be careful. Something is stirring in the pumpkin patch next to the old haunted cemetery.

The background was drawn in Inkscape. As my vector art skills were very rusty, it went through several iterations, but I was determined to build a whole scene that suited the algorithmically generated pumpkin vine animation.

One rare video NFT with a soundtrack created especially for it. HODL till Halloween 2022!

Unmasked

A concept developed with and featuring Gavin Dougan, a friend and photographer best known for his photography featured on his Edinburgh HD page on Facebook.

We've often been out together doing astrophotography and aurora hunting, and have worked on some arty projects a few times before. He was also my wedding photographer! He would like to be further involved in NFTs as a photographer and collaborator.
